2025 Peter Fitchett Memorial Golf Day

The annual Peter Fitchett Memorial Golf Day is fast approaching and will be held this year at Cranbourne Golf Club on Monday, 13 October 2025.

This special day honours Peter’s memory as a distinguished player, Life Member, President, and Club Champion of McKinnon Cricket Club. It has become one of the most anticipated events on the calendar, not only for the great golf on offer but also for the sizable contribution it generates for the McKinnon Cricket Club Past Players Association.

Organised and hosted by former McKinnon 1st XI player Darren Stait, the event promises to be another fantastic day on the course.

Event Details

Date: Monday 13 October 2025
Tee-off: From 8.45am (arrive by 8.15am)
Venue: Cranbourne Golf Club, 750 Glasscocks Road, Cranbourne

Cranbourne Golf Club has been consistently ranked among the top 100 courses in Australia. With the club recently sold and scheduled to close in early 2026, this may be your last opportunity to play on this outstanding course.

Cost: $130 per player
(Includes green fees, a light lunch, and a donation to McKinnon Cricket Club, an organisation that was very close to Peter’s heart.)

Format: The competition format (Team Stableford, Ambrose, etc.) will be announced on the day.
